• • Leather and Suede hats are generally not harmed by rain provided that you dry them properly. Dry immediately with a soft white cloth and place in a spot that is away from direct sources of heat.
  
  
  • To remove everyday dirt from smooth leathers, periodically wipe them with a water-dampened (not wet) cloth.
  
  
  • To keep the garment soft and supple and retain its natural oils lost during normal use, you may periodically apply a leather care lotion with a soft cloth using a circular motion.
  
  
  • An application of Scotchguard or a silicone based waterproofing spray is helpful to repel water and dirt.
